Biking in Moab Utah Takes You Above and Beyond the Ordinary

Tucked away in the southeastern corner of Utah between towering sandstone walls is a lush green river valley — Moab.  While Moab Utah has long been popular with river and hiking enthusiasts, over the years, it's become known as the ultimate mountain biking "mecca."  It earned this reputation for good reason — in addition to its plateaus and deep canyons, the views are over-the-top spectacular.  The combination of riding trails for all skill levels and southern climate make Moab Utah a haven for mountain biking and cycling.
Novices can ease into cycling on many of Moab's low-key trails with bikes and equipment available from The Moab Tourism Center.  Bicycling in Moab Utah is every bit as enjoyable and much less strenuous — taking you into the heart of the region and surrounding you with incredible scenery. Escape the confines of pavement and set out to more peaceful, secluded spots, such as the Moab Brand Trails, Klondike Bluffs and the Intrepid Trail System:

Come Out and Play in Arches National Park — America's Natural Playground

Meander through a dazzling maze of colorful canyons, traverse the winding desert trails, and explore surreal stone formations. If hiking is your thing, take a Ranger-guided hike up the trailhead to Tower Arch and past the Landscape Arch trail. Follow your guide as you twist through winding passageways, hidden arches and slot canyons to the Fiery Furnace -- a spectacularly beautiful maze of narrow canyons that you must scramble and squeeze your way through to conquer.  Or hike up to the Delicate Arch that suddenly surprises you at trail's end.
Arches has trails to suit every level of hiker, and guided tours are available that get you up close to the park's most amazing features. Whichever trail you choose, you'll experience breathtaking, panoramic views you have to see to believe.  As with any adventure, safety is paramount.  So, you'll want a tour guide and plenty of water handy to make your way up, through and around the park's jaw-dropping landscape.
